The Amsterdam Rijksmuseum is the city’s biggest and most imposing museum. The museum counts approximately 400 masterpieces by (among others) Rembrandt, Vermeer, Franz Hals and Jan Steen. In the beautiful, renovated building all the high points of the Golden Age are brought together in a surprising arrangement. After a renovation lasting 10 years the rijksmuseum, now more beautiful than ever before, is fully open to the public again.
