Experience the world of Escher
This Attraction is closed until further notice.
Do you know the picture of a waterfall that is flowing upstream? Or the drawing of the impossible steps? The graphic artist M.C. Escher is famous for his geometrical and impossible objects and designs that often confuse the observer.
The museum ‘Escher in Het Paleis’ shows the most famous and important works of the artist. The museum however does not only display this great exhibition, it is also an attraction itself. The palace used to be the residence of Queen Emma from 1901. So if you visit Escher in Het Paleis you get both – an impressive exhibition and a visit to an old royal residence.
